Gimp legs, strawberry fields, the capital, and sneak previews

Yup, that’s the summary of my last few days.

I’ve got updates coming, things have been in a tailspin for a few days though.  Long story short, my cat got either hit by a car, or tangled in something.  After a $400 trip to the Emergency Vet Clinic, and an $80 visit to the regular vet, they’ve determined he tore a radial nerve, is paralyzed, and needs a $700 amputation.  Agh.

Additionally, we took a trip to Tallahassee with the 4th grade of Liza Jackson Preparatory School, and despite having to be there at 4 am, the buses running late, one not showing up, 3 sick kids, and our bus being pulled over & ticketed, we had a great (but tiring) time.  We even ran into & got to meet the governor.  Thats right, I got to see his tan up close & personal!  And I have pictures to prove it.

Somewhere amidst all this, strawberry season started, and I took a brief break from editing, marketing, moving, and answering emails to go pick a few strawberries & check out the clover fields which are beautiful for portraits!  We came back with about 7 lbs of strawberries, and that’s just the ones we didn’t eat as we picked lol.

So – stay tuned.  I was really hoping to get all my posts caught up and published today, but we had to go BACK out to the vet, had a meeting at the new office, and set up our new desks, which sucked the entire day up… and I was already exhausted from my super long day yesterday at the Capital.

So – Stay tuned!  I know you guys are anxiously awaiting the post sneak preview!  First thing in the morning, thats my plan!

Oh, and since spring is in the air, congratulations to me & my hubby, it’s officially our anniversary!
