I am so so thankful to be doing what I love! And this week, I get to shoot JUST for the love of it. I rarely ever say I “have” to do a shoot (though I probably have said that a time or two without realizing lol). I really really love what I do, and don’t know how I’d manage if I had to make myself do anything else. And so… I am always always always striving to be better. I am my own hardest critic. So this week, I’m out of town, shooting for the love of it, and learning learning learning. I’m in Daytona Beach through Thursday, when I’ll rush home, fall right into a bridal shoot, then do a rehearsal dinner the next day, and a wedding the day after that.
In the meanwhile, no worries, despite working my little tush off during the day (and into the evening) I’ll be editing, blogging, and generally “catching up” in the evenings while I have the rare advantage of a kid free environment! I *should* be rather productive!!! (SHOULD be lol).
So – keep an eye out for blog posts, etc. and if you’re trying to reach me realize I’m probably largely unavailable except for late late nights! Oh – and anyone who has tried to reach me in the last two days – well I’ll be reaching you soon. If you keep up with me on facebook or twitter you’ll know I had a full day Thursday that ended with a last minute shoot – an emergency of sorts – to shoot a birth, which kept me out the entire evening, and all the next day. SO running on E and no sleep or food, I crashed at home for a few hours, got back up, worked some more, then crashed again until it was time to leave for Daytona Beach. So – I have nearly fallen off the face of the Earth for the last 48 hours, and I will be desperately catching up on emails when I get up tomorrow morning!
Ok, whew… long day behind me, and a long day ahead of me – I’m off to catch some zzzzz’s. I’ll see you on the flip side when I return home, hopefully an even better photographer!
