Puppy Love!

Ya, I know, I couldn’t resist!  I was so so excited when I learned that Kara & John wanted to incorporate their two dogs into their engagement pictures!  I haven’t really shot a lot with dogs, especially big dogs, and even more especially dogs I don’t already know, so I was really excited to see if my baby whispering techniques could come in handy with dogs (the answer, by the way, is NO lol).  Nonetheless, despite being totally intimidated by the bigger dog, things went so perfectly great, and we had a total blast!!!!  I was so so lucky that Kara & John brought their families to help, though!  

Here is a little sneak preview of the engagement shoot, including Kara, John, and both dogs!

Starting with the littlest one, Kara’s dog, who looks her cutest when her ears are perked up! lol.

And then Mr. Toughguy himself (who’s looks are quite deceiving – he was super sweet & so well behaved!)

This is possibly my absolute FAVORITE picture!!!!  THIS is the one they need hanging in their living room!

And of course, they look just as cute together, minus the doggies!

And so cute, John’s mom has clearly spent enough time around me shooting – when she saw this gorgeous sun setting – she instantly pointed it out!  I’m so glad we caught it!
