Melissa & Mike got married recently & although every wedding is special and fun for me… this wedding was especially sentimental for me. I’ve known Melissa & her family for quite some time now. I knew that I’d probably be sharing a box of tissues with Cathy & Mark, Melissa’s parents. And sure enough, I cried my little eyes out. Lucky for me, and their wedding photos, I held it together just fine for the ceremony. Which is good, because I’m used to being a sap during the mother/son dance… but I totally cried almost all the way through the father/daughter dance!
Melissa is a daddy’s girl through and through, and she is such an awesome person, Mike is a very lucky guy. (And I can’t forget – Mike is totally a keeper! Great catch, Melissa!)
The entire day was so much fun, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of their day.
We started the day off at Melissa’s parents’ house getting ready, and managed to dodge gloomy clouds overhead!
Unfortunately, poor little Max couldn’t actually be a part of the ceremony, but he was decked out and ready to go, nonetheless!
And the shoes… looooove the red shoes!
Oh, and this is the sweetest thing ever. This little fella was the ring bearer. Cool factoid: his daddy was the ring bearer in Melissa’s parents wedding!
We’ve been dying to do this shot for a while, and luckily Melissa suggested it, and we got to do it!!! It was totally sweet!
