Wow, this has GOT to go down as one of my most favorite cities in the South! I was thrilled when Amy asked me to come photograph her wedding in Fairhope! Turns out Amy & Eric are from the same little town in Mississippi that my husband is from, as well!

Fairhope, in case you have never been, is one of the most amazing little towns the South has to offer, with picture-perfect settings at every turn. The old down-home feel, quaint neighborhood vibe, and totally friendly folks made me want to stay an extra WEEK! I will definitely be making a trip back for some Red-Velvet Whoopie Pies, and great food! We had a long list of places we wanted to try, and nowhere near enough time to hit them all.

Aside from all the beauty that Fairhope has to offer, Amy & Eric made this weekend extra special. They are so totally in love, and so sweet to each other. It was so relaxing & refreshing being around them, and we went home that night still beaming and chatting about how awesome the whole day was. You can tell after 2 minutes with them that where they are most comfortable, is in each other’s arms. They really truly complete each other. What is normally a day of chaos & craziness was really just another laid back day, made extra special by the fact that they got married!

Amy & Eric got ready & did most of our pictures around the Grand Hotel in Fairhope, AL. We headed over to St. Francis at the Point for the ceremony (I swear, this church was BUILT for weddings), and then finished the day at the Fairhope Inn. And of course, we definitely want to say thank you to all the friends & family of Amy & Eric who were so wonderful. We had such a blast, and everyone was so warm & welcoming!
