Photography Class!

Ok, so – I promised it was coming, and I think I’ve finally settled on the date.

For now, the photography class will be Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm – 8 pm beginning August 20, 2009.

The class will consist of 4 weeks, with the agenda to be announced shortly but including such things as:

Working with Natural Lighting

Positioning your subject

Using your camera functions

What to look for (composition)

Camera Basics (ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed, etc.)

And in general, you will walk away knowing how to take better pictures overall.

A Digital SLR that has a manual mode is not required, but is recommended.  A follow up class with more advanced techniques will follow shortly which will utilize the manual mode of the camera.

At first, the class will only cost $50, but please be aware that this price is simply an introductory price and will probably increase as time goes on.

And of course, I am flexible… if you really want to take the class, but this day of the week simply does not work for you – email me, with enough interest I am considering doing a weekend class on August 22nd and/or 23rd or if everyone in the class agrees, we could adjust the date/time.  But I do want to make sure it starts that same week if possible.

To sign up – simply email me & we will make arrangements for you to pay for the class online or by phone or I will give you directions to drop the payment off at the studio.
