Our next photography class!

I didn’t forget about it!  We’ve got our next photography class in the works, and this one is going to be VERY exciting!  I cannot wait!

We had originally planned to do it on Sat. Sept 26th, and though I hate that it looks like it won’t happen THAT day, it’s only because of a very exciting turn of events!  We have launched our first ever Small Miracles Calendar project for charity to benefit the American Cancer Society, and the Santa Rosa Mall has agreed to host portrait sessions that day!  So we will be at the mall photographing hopefully LOTS of children for them to have a chance to be featured in the calendar.  We are very very excited about this awesome opportunity so as much as I hate to reschedule the class, it’s for an awesome cause & reason

So – we are looking at one of the following two dates:

Sunday Sept 20th or Sunday October 4th

Class time will be from appx 1pm – 6 pm

It will cover:

• Overview (and intro for some!) to shooting in fully manual
• Shooting in various lighting situations
• Shooting RAW
• Processing RAW files
• Using Photoshop Actions
• Creating Photoshop Actions
• Time permitting:  further photoshop, to lead into one of our more specialized classes coming up!

Better yet, as a BONUS, anyone who signs up for this class will receive a 1 hour, one on one session on their own schedule!  Covering pretty much ANYTHING you need!

This is a great deal – so we are asking folks to sign up NOW – if we get a good enough response we can hold it BOTH days.  Cost for the class is $75, payable in advance to hold your spot & ensure that we have enough people for the class.
