The Faces Of Kobi

So, I don’t post pictures of my own kids nearly enough. Well, part of that is because I don’t TAKE pictures of my kids nearly enough. Really it’s quite sad. I think when I’m 70, and wading through pictures, I’ll wonder how on earth I went from having a newborn to a toddler with my daughter because there are virtually no pictures between the ages of about 3 months – 3 yrs lol. Poor kid. Second children really do get the short end of the stick. But truth be told, even my oldest, my first born, didn’t have the “collection” of photos that most first borns have. Bad, mom… yes I know. I accept full responsibility. I have my many lists of reasons & excuses, but none of that will matter when I’m 80 and can’t remember what *I* looked like back in the ‘old days’ much less remember what my kids looked like. Trust me, I hear it enough from my mother.

So – anyways – as I was saying… I have far too few pictures. And what’s funny is both my kids LOVE to ham it up for the camera. I can never do “real” pictures of them. Instead, this is what I get… here is Kobi in all his glory.

And I know… it’s goofy.  And he’s awkward lol.  And he’s at that crazy inbetween stage where everything is out of proportion.  And, he’ll eventually need braces.  But, that’s what makes him HIM.  And you better believe… these will be the ones I put in his senior yearbook lol.  That’s what you get for being the goofball son of a photographer  I think the first one on the first row, and the first one on the last row are my two faves.
