The Phelan Family – including the two cutest little girls!

I was so excited when Sarah contacted me to schedule her session – she had won a gift certificate at a charity auction, and although she didn’t initially say where, I had a good idea since she was coming from Pensacola.  A while back, I had donated a session to one of the local Midwive’s and Birthing Centers.  Turns out Sarah was the proud winner of this auction item, so I was very happy to be doing a session for someone who showed a passion and such support for a common interest . Turns out we even have a few mutual friends, we’re pretty like minded mammas (natural living, cloth diapering, etc), and even better – she has the two most wonderful, bubbly, precious little girls anyone could ask for!  And of course, her husband was a great guy too!  Her little girls were so adorable and loving, and you can tell they are going to be great friends for the rest of their lives.  It’s the kind of thing that makes a mother’s heart melt!  And I was so delighted when Sarah told me she really wanted to capture their family naturally, having fun, interacting with each other and weren’t really so interested in the posed pictures that most beach portraits consist of.  That’s right up my alley, and a nice break at the end of a long & busy season!

So here they are, the Phelan Family:

And as any mom knows, this is what sisterly love usually tends to look like:  (by the way, the littlest one is standing in a little hole in the sand! lol)

These girls kept me busy chasing them up & down the beach:

That is… until they found this little pool of water!

They had the best time splashing & playing in the water!
